The so-called sheet extruder screen changer is simply a product used to filter out foreign particles and impurities when plasticizing material flow filters, but because it is supported by an alloy porous plate, which is mounted on a plate or column carrier, the carrier can be moved so as to switch between the working position of a system and the off-line non-working position. Therefore, it can be installed on any new or existing extruder, melt pump, reactor or other extrusion line.

Types of hydraulic screen changers for sheet and plate

1、Manual screen changer 

Manual screen changer, as the name implies, is a direct manual switch between screen changers. Manual screen changer has the advantages of compact size and low cost, but its shortcomings are also obvious: the screen changing speed is slow, usually need to stop to change the screen, and the screen diameter is generally below 100mm due to the friction resistance and sealing performance. 

2、Hydraulic automatic screen changer

Hydraulic automatic screen changer has the advantages of compact size, good back pressure sealing, rapid screen changing speed, etc. Its shortcomings are relatively more acceptable: higher cost and complex hydraulic structure. 

3、Net belt type automatic screen changer 

Mesh belt type screen changer This series of filter consists of a 10m or 20m filter mesh belt, heating and cooling series and electric control system. No external power is needed, relying on the pressure driving device to automatically control the screen changing. No fluctuation of material flow and no deformation of products during screen changing.
